There is no free operation. The pools grow until the entire pool is deleted. In practice you have to take care to use the proper pool by considering the life cycle of the pools.

Hi,

I would like to assign a new pj_str_t value to a variable, but I wonder what’s happening about freeing the previous value since pj_str_t points internally to a char * value.
I couldn’t see anything about how to tell the pool the previous value has been freed.
What did I miss please?

Best Regards,
