binding udp transport to new address

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

I'd like to be able to take an existing pjsip udp transport (http://www.pjsip.org/pjsip/docs/html/group__PJSIP__TRANSPORT__UDP.htm) bound to address 0.0.0.0 and bind it to a new address. What is the safest way of doing this? Pausing and restarting the transport with DESTROY_SOCKET set? Shutting down the transport and simply creating a new one from scratch? Moreover, how can I be sure that the original transport is really gone (i.e that the shutdown has been completed) and that the port it was using is available (to avoid address already in use errors)?

Best,
Tristan
