Hi Dennis Thanks for your help I have tried your PPA, but still running in to issues. When I have entered: sudo apt-get update I get the following errors: W: Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/dennis.guse/sip-tools/ubuntu/dists/precise/main/source/Sources 404 Not Found W: Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/dennis.guse/sip-tools/ubuntu/dists/precise/main/binary-i386/Packages 404 Not Found W: Failed to fetch https://launchpad.net/~dennis.guse/+archive/sip-tools/dists/precise/main/source/Sources W: Failed to fetch https://launchpad.net/~dennis.guse/+archive/sip-tools/dists/precise/main/binary-i386/Packages I am also assuming that when you say "do the following" sudo add-apt-repository ppa:dennis.guse/sip-tools sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install libpjsip-samples python-pjsip I am doing: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:dennis.guse/sip-tools sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install libpjsip-samples python-pjsip Thanks again for any input you can give! If you don't have any -dev package for *any* audio library available PJSIP will see NO audio device.... Since you are on ubuntu, you can use my PPA: http://blog.g00se.org/2013/10/pjsip-for-ubuntu-ppa-with-video-support.html It also includes VideoSupport and the old python-bindings.
