Subject: PJSIP is not recognising the audio device when used on ubuntu by VM

Hi,

I am using the PJSIP version 2.1 on Ubuntu. This Ubuntu is basically a VM which I am running on windows 7.
When I am trying to run the application auddemo on Ubuntu then it says
Sound device count = 0
No devices found

But if I ran command to Display all soundcards and digital audio devices
$ arecord -l
Then it gives result as

**** List of CAPTURE Hardware Devices ****
card 0: AudioPCI [Ensoniq AudioPCI], device 0: ES1371/1 [ES1371 DAC2/ADC]
  Subdevices: 1/1
  Subdevice #0: subdevice #0

Can anybody tell me why PJSIP is not able to recognise the audio device,
Is there any connection of using ununtu on VM ?

Thanks in Advance
Vijendra
