This is keepalive mechanism. Romain is correct. You can read the example in
that RFC.

Romain, is there any keepalive message between UAC and REGISTRAR?

Hi Romain,

I think it is more reasonable to send UPDATE requests every 100s (if my
session expire is 100) ?
What is UPDATE used for, I see it contains no specific information.

P/S: I even tried setting my session expire header to 120, but UPDATE is
still sent every 50s
