Delay observed while sending bulk SUBSCRIBE requests

Hi All,
I am working on to implement BLF feature in SIP client/UA built with
PJSIP. I am facing an issue here. On subscription refresh, when I send
around 19-20 SUBSCRIBE requests simultaneously, there is some delay
observed when PJSIP actually sends packets/requests out (observed delay in
packet capture). The delay is of order of 5-20 secs. I have put the time
around "pjsip_evsub_send_request" API and found this API is not taking any
time.

- Did anyone has faced this kind of issue earlier?
- Any pointers to debug the issue further?

Notes:
- I could not see this behavior when number of SUBSCRIBE requests are 2-4.
I do not yet find the point where the delay is started getting introduced,
but I'll do it and post.
- I am using little older PJSIP version - 1.5

Thanks in advance.
