Need to get a raw audio stream from PJSUA

Hi

I am trying to get a raw audio stream from PJSUA and pass it along to
pocketsphinx from the cmusphinx project. Pocketsphinx`s tutorial says it
take stuff from 16khz 16bit mono little-endian file.

I was thinking about using stdin inside the built-in wav recorder to
just pass it on, but I was wondering if there was a better way to do it,
as I'd like to use stdin for something else ideally.

If relevant I am using an asterisk server as a go-between between the
carrier and the phone. It allows for ulaw, G729 and G728 codecs.
