Hi Ragu, Intel IPP (http://software.intel.com/en-us/intel-ipp/) is a library that among other things implements different speech codecs. You can get a detailed information in the link below http://software.intel.com/sites/products/collateral/hpc/ipp/ipp_indepth.pdf So, AFAIK the way pjmedia supports those codecs (also g729) is using the IPP.
