Hello,
I think your problem comes from ulibc in function vsprintf or sprintf. I
had this problem in newlib 2 years ago.
This function seems not correctly manages format : %.*s.
I think
printf("%.*s\n",len,(char *)NULL); *display*s (null)
snprintf(ptr, 40, "%.*s", len, (char *)NULL) *give* ptr = "(null)".
