Dialing regular telephone numbers

USually phone numbers are converted into SIP URIs, e.g.:
sip:+4312345 at yourdomain.com

The academic approach would be to use a tel URI, e.g.
tel:+4312345
but I do not know if pjsip supports this and further, most SIP proxies 
do not accept it.
