Not sure how much interest there is in this as I haven't been keeping upto date with ext/soap lately, but I recently made some improvements to David Giffin's wsdl-writer-0.3 WSDL auto-generator for ext/soap web services. The improvements provide support for SOAP headers, arbitrary depth complexTypes (recursive scanning of all types required to fully define a parent type in the <types> section), support for xsd:base64Binary, numerous .NET/Java interoperability fixes and a couple of other assorted bug fixes. David doesn't appear to maintain the code (I sent him two patches a while ago) so I've published the changes and a couple of examples here:

Great to see some development. I didn't had the time to publish a new version yet. Maybe we need to publish it in an open place like sourceforge.

Are you the original author? I sent you some detailed emails in December but didn't get a response, I believe I emailed david@giffin.org. If you're the original author I'll gladly resend them to this address. Only just got around to blogging about it myself, 7 months later :-)

Oh, I'm sorry, that's another project (not mine). I developed another wsdl generator (http://jool.nl/webservicehelper) and also recieved a couple of patches from somebody pushing for an update :D

Regards,

David
