PHP Soap parsing retrun XML attribute

Can someone please tell me whether Pear Soap or PHP5 Soap can parse the
return XML with attribute to array or object?

 

Eg:

              <foo attr="bute"">4.35</foo>

 

I have been using NuSOAP and it couldn't do it.
