Hello Oschlies,
This is the new SOPA 1.2 compliant implementation done in C.
It is no longer necessary to use the PEAR:SOAP classes. There
is yet no documentation and also the extension still reauires
some work. Hence it won't be default enabled in PHP 5.0.x.

p.s.: Use configure (--help to see all options):
marcus@frodo /usr/src/php5 $ ./configure --help|grep soap
--enable-soap Include SOAP support.
