OK current situation is that the latest VC9 builds of PHP do now include php_interbase. So downloading the current one (?5.3.6) will give you the extension. Using Apache, we now use the VC9 builds of that from apachelounge rather than the VC6 builds, and this sorts out that difference.
As for actually working WITH Interbase ... not sure who is actually testing that, on the whole we have all moved over to Firebird so that we do not have any licensing problems.
