You have to do following settings in php.ini

A) if your using windows system

[mail function]
; For Win32 only.
SMTP = (name or ip address of smtp sever)
smtp_port = 25

; For Win32 only.
sendmail_from = (your email id)

B) if your using linux system

; For Unix only. You may supply arguments as well (default: "sendmail -t -i").
sendmail_path = path-to-sendmail -t -i -f (your email id)
