one last question on this matter... is there an automatic script you can run that gives the password too... something I can put in my startup items ?

Getting o f f t o p i c* - it's called 'ssh tunneling' and what you'll probably end with up as a solution will be 'ssh keys', 'ssh key pairs' or 'ssh passphrase'.
ssh-keygen is the utility in *nix.
(*not my emphasis, its to avoid the list filter)
