Hi,

   chmod used to change the permisssion level.
you can set your chmod on command line via chmod
commnad or if you are using any ftp programme(In case
files are on remote server) you can just right click
on the file or directory to get  the option of chmod
setting in most ftp clients.

revert back with any problem ;)
