RE: password/entry

I require users to log in with a password to access certain parts of the web
site. I looked at php.net at the manual and it has 'HTTP authentication
with PHP', but it seems to have trouble with some browsers. Is there a
place where I can get code that considers all the different variables? I
looked for the Classes Repository, but I could not find it. Maybe I am
blind?

Thanks!

You can search the list archives or check the manual, for starters. The PHP
Classes Repository or PEAR would be a good second step.

I'm sorry I can't be more helpful, but your desired end result is kind of
fuzzy.

Hi everyone,

Where can I find information about having a password access to certain
files/directories (PHP/MySQL)? Will this example make it so users cannot
access these files? Or do I need to put them into a different folder and
give them r/w depending on their login?
