I require users to log in with a password to access certain parts of the web site. I looked at php.net at the manual and it has 'HTTP authentication with PHP', but it seems to have trouble with some browsers. Is there a place where I can get code that considers all the different variables? I looked for the Classes Repository, but I could not find it. Maybe I am blind? Thanks! -----Original Message----- From: Becoming Digital [mailto:subs@becomingdigital.com] Sent: Saturday, May 24, 2003 7:35 PM To: php-db@lists.php.net Subject: Re: password/entry You can search the list archives or check the manual, for starters. The PHP Classes Repository or PEAR would be a good second step. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful, but your desired end result is kind of fuzzy. Will this example make it so users cannot access these files? Or do I need to put them into a different folder and give them r/w depending on their login?
