I apologize if you subscribe to the php general list also as this is a re-posting from there.. I know I can connect to another db through an odbc connection in php. Can I use php to create the connection initially? I will be uploading an access db from the users and then moving the data over into my mysql db. Since this will all be done automatically, I will need php to upload the file,create the odbc connection, connect, pump over the data, then delete the connection.
