I'd like to test to see if data exists in my table ("count"), and if not
insert some:
This is seudo code of what I'd like:
$sql = "SELECT num FROM count WHERE col1=$var1 AND col2=$var2";
IF $sql returns an EMPTY SET {
INSERT INTO count VALUES('$var1', '$var2', "0");
}
This is the code i have atm:
$sql="SELECT num FROM count where col1='$var1' AND col2='$var2'";
$page_count = mysql_query($sql,$db);
if (!$page_count){
$sql = "INSERT INTO count VALUES('$var1', '$var2', '0');
}
