Ok,I got it:
            function seek( $result, $row )
            {
            
                mysql_data_seek( $result, $row );
                return $this->row( $result );
            
            }
instead of:

            function seek( $result, $row )
            {
            
                $result = mysql_data_seek( $result, $row );
                return $this->row( $result );
            
            }
