I think this is how it works.....if you're using dbx then you need to connect using dbx_connect and not mysql_connect and i don't think that [shared] is a valid argument. I only connect to mysql and M$Sql so i have configured to connect to those specifiacally. I am not sure if [shared] is allowed, it should be considering that the version is 4.1.2 and this install was default RH7.3. Is there a way to check and make sure?
