Banking transaction is critical because it's more on client related thing,

while querying reports and backups are for internal.

go for INNODB.

Hi all,

My team is going to build a web application for a banking system in PHP/MYSql where there is a transaction based entries...mean (partial executed statement) that force me to choose INNODB engine for MYSql....and on the other way there will be reporting where select queries will decrease the speed and also backups issues.....that force me to use MYISAM...

I have done much of the search on google for both but currently very confused...so need some guide line from ur side.

Plz give me ur suggesstions. .....what should i use.

i will be thank full to u.

thanx

Regards
