Magento is a powerful one . But if your server is on a shared hosting , then it may take some time to load than the other shopping carts . There are lots of features in Magento than the other shopping carts like oscommerce and zen-cart . I have not worked more with the other shopping carts to tell . And more over its your and clients choice to go for which one .
