yes those configurations are to be set in php.ini....(they can also be changed in .htaccess but i think u r web server does not support .htaccess)...u can also change those settings using ini_set()<http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.ini-set.php>but it is not recommended <http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.ini-set.php#22264>.
