If you need more information about this, please follow the commands:
Login on mysql using mysql commands like mysql -u user --password=pword; in the command prompt or shell. Once logged in the mysql, type HELP SHOW in the mysql> command prompt. You will get the list of SHOW queries syntax.

I am using MySQL - 4.1.22 when i use the following sql query

1) SHOW TABLE query for version 4.1.22 and also is there a
difference in the SHOW TABLE query for MySQL - 3.23.58
