Try:

wvhtml (for word->html)
wvtext (for word->text)

I havent had need for a Powerpoint->HTML although I'm sure that will 
exist somewhere. Failing that you may get a powerpoing plug in for browsers.

freshmeat.net is a good place to search for linux software
