I am not sure if menu selection and menu item are the same thing. If they
 are different then you probably need to explain what you mean by each.

First page is a menu. I want each menu selection to be handled by a 
different PHP file.

I can do that by making every menu item a distinct form. But that 
seems 
clumsy.

Is there a better way?
