One of those 'how long is a piece of string' questions, but I'll ask anyway ;) My framework has had a communal shoutbox facility for a long time, but with many sites now having 'instant chat' my clients are asking can we do something like it. Some sites are still constrained by slow internet connections, but a couple of sites should be capable of supporting this.
