Well that's odd. locale_get_default() gave me an undefined function error. Apparently this year problem has been reported as a bug on bugs.php.net but the status for it (and everything else) is Bogus. I'm not sure if that means anything or not but hopefully a fix will be coming soon.

   .... and....

<?php echo locale_get_default(); ?>
