CSS class names are case-sensitive. IE supports insensitivity in non-standards mode. You're probably confusing the following: C.13. Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and XHTML 1. CSS style sheets for XHTML should use lower case element and attribute names. This does not refer to attribute values.
