I'll be honest --- I just found out this minute, too, that I was wrong about $HTTP_SERVER_VARS as well. I ignorantly based my assumptions (back in '97 or '98) that they'd only be available via the web on the *name* of the array alone. HTTP is a protocol.... you get the point. Neat-o. -- </Daniel P.
