    Tweak this to meet your needs.  All .htaccess settings are
PHP_INI_ALL or PHP_INI_PERDIR in modern PHP's.

# In your .htaccess
php_flag max_execution_time 300
php_flag max_input_time 300
php_flag memory_limit 64M
php_flag post_max_size 256M
php_flag upload_max_filesize 256M

// In your script:
ignore_user_abort(1);
?>
