A require with just a filename like that goes straight to the file system, with nary even a hint of a thought of involving Apache. So the admin.php3 file must exist *somewhere* in the file system. As someone else suggested, I think your best bet is to examine the include_path setting in php.ini (via a phpinfo() script if necessary). Cheers!
