A question that has been bugging me..

Hey Everyone,

Is it possible to have variables affect the database results of an included php page in a shtml page? Let me try and clear that up...

index.shtml?order=a <---- that does not resort the database results
index.php?order=a <----- That DOES resort the database results...

Can I just not include my php page in a shtml page if I plan to resort the database results using $_GET?

I'm trying to keep content/presentation separate, but obviously, if I can't use variables to resort the database, then I won't be able to :)

I'm sure I could do some thing with AJAX, but that's beyond the scope of this list and WAY beyond what I understand :)
