Yes, I am still on Dial-Up. Is this some vital function that is required by your extension, or is there some information you need which has not already been given? If it is neither of these, how do I stop it because I find it infuriating. I don't use PEAR but it's probably calling home to check for updates (and this launches your system's dialer to connect to the internet). Check the docs and you'll more than likely find a way to disable automatic checks.
