All active variables?

Hi,

Is it possible to print out all variables that are active within a script
without doing it manually? This is what I would like to do:

$a = 12;
$b = 'Peter';
$c = 'Lauri';

echo '<pre>';
print_r( get_all_variables() );
echo '</pre>';
