Point well taken -- but how about placing one link to the "best" reference? We can decide on which one is the best later.

At least we can say "Did you read the intro?" or "Please read the intro." when dealing with very basic questions.

PS: But, I did like the "buy and distribute books" thing. Put me first on that list -- I'll add it to the other dozens of php books I've read and can't remember.
