I don't ever remember anyone using the word stupid. Other adjectives maybe, but not stupid.

 add as many layers of complexity you need to make things simple for you.

Those of us who feel adding a template system on top of something already well equipped to do the job are living in a cave? Yes, other adjectives indeed.
