In your page where you display the image, put in the tag <img src='imgenerator.php'>, where imagenerator.php is your script which creates the images. You can add tests in your imagenerator.php script to make sure that the user has some session variables set and the user is not calling the imgenerator directly. That way you will not have to worry about the browser knowing about the original image.
