Ok I just went through great lengths investigating this. If you have complex HTML, forget it. All the HTML -> PDF conversions only work out with very simple HTML. If you are trying to convert a web page to PDF if most likely will look terrible - to check on this try it using Acrobat Distiller, assumably the best HTML to PDF converter out there (utilizing Print to PDF from browser) it still fails to output PERFECT PDF. It really bites that this isn't more easy either. That said, there are some solutions using Ghostscript, htmldoc that are really cool and fairly easy to get working!
