inserting arabic into mysql

I have a text area form and when I insert it into mysql I get letters like this:Ã"ÃÅÃÂÃÂÃâÃ"ÃâÃâÃÂÃÅÃÂÃ" ÃâÃÅÃÂÃ"ÃÂÃÅ Ã"ÃÂÃÂÃÅ...instead of arabic letters. anything I know do to get it right?
