Dear friends, we would like to migrate a server where we host several websites (in virtual hosting) to PHP 5 with Apache 2. Technical support at the hosting provider told us there are still problems about safety of threads on php 5 + Apache 2 (management of memory). They would propose to migrate Apache to the pre-fork version in order to avoid these problems (but we would be unable to use all the features of Apache 2). Is that right? Has anybody switched to that combination already?
