I wrote a script for a webcam overview that downloads images form different locations like this:

$image = imagecreatefromjpeg($imgurl);
header("Content-Type: image/jpeg");
imagejpeg($image);
?>
I call it a few times inside an html file like this:
<img src="getcamimage.php?camId={id}">The Problem is that this does not seem to be multithreaded. The pictures load one after the other, not all at once. This makes the page loading process take forever (there are quite some pics on that page). Also some seem to get a timeout so they don’t load at all... but that a different prob.
First I thought it might have to do with the number of allowed open sockets but that’s not it, imho.
I don’t have a clue why this happens, or how to stop it.
