Anyway, do you have these as well:
/usr/include/pspell/ /usr/include/pspell/pspell.h
The directory is required for the ./configure command to succeed, and you actually need the header file for the make command to succeed.
No, I have no pspell directory or header file, I had installed pspell seperately which made configure work, but caused problems when trying to use the pspell commands in php (couldn't find dictionaries). I was told that aspell had all the pspell stuff that php needed.
