[snip] that works, had to do it a couple of times myself. btw jay, if your machine has perl installed and the LWP module is also installed (usually will be) you might find the POST binary on your server. If it's there you can forget about sockets and make use of this program to send the data to the second page. [/snip] It seems as if it would be really simple, but not so much I guess.
