Eric, I believe I am the one who started this thread when trying to build 5.6.7 this week ran into the same issue when attempting to build 5.6.24 on Solaris 10 x86. Your suggestion to convert the ^M EOL's to UNIX type worked, and the build completed without errors after converting the file with the dos2unix command. Wonder why only that file is in DOS format. Your suggestion is much appreciated.
