Make fails when building with gd on Mac OS 10.4

I've installed gd 2.0.34 via macports. Config goes ok with php 5.2.3, 
but make fails with these errors:

/usr/bin/ld: Undefined symbols:

Anyone know what the problem is? Below is my config command:
