Lotta things coming apart all at once.

I’ve been here a long time, and don’t mind contributing, but my social media life is centered around a handful of interesting pages on FB, not for the feedback, but for the outreach to separate communities I need to have a presence in.

It’s a pleasure to see some of you on my FB pages, especially to see into your lives in a way that the forum was never going to do.  But the feedback mechanism is way too cumbersome and our lives have changed in scary ways over the nearly 30 years, ways that the Forum has no way to contribute to building community.

Please stay friends with me on FB, especially Andy, whose amazing life it has been a great pleasure to share.  And if you’re not present over there but among my friends, check in a little more often, please.

Friends,

It seems that the usefulness of the PhotoForum list has reached rock bottom.
While the PF gallery garnered some interest and participation, it also seems to have withered away.

For this reason I am thinking it is about time to retire the list and the gallery.
The site on Facebook would remain available for those of you interested.

I am planning to deactivate the account shortly unless there is some reason to keep it.
