Adjusting Color/Exposure for a specific printer?

greetings all!

I will be printing some photos on non-photo paper to make a small photo album for a gift.
thing is that the shop has not calibrated the printer any, so I should be reverse engineering MY adjustments.

What I have done so far is t take 3 tests prints, re adjust the originals to what the test prints look like, and next I will be reversing these adjustments.
The purpose is to put the reverse adjustments in an action, which will be applied to all to all the photos.

So far I have confirmed that a in Colro Balance, a -7 points to magenta setting, is readjusted with +7 points towards the green.
Same thing with the Saturation.
But with levels it gets very tricky. To replicate the test print I had to move the setting to 54-1.05-255 but fixing this with counter adjustments does not take me to the exact blacks' appearance
I also tried the "variations" but does not help.

What do you think of my method? Any other options?
